Entrecanales Domecq e Hijos is firmly committed to sustainability, which guides each and all of its activities. Its wineries were pioneers in Spain in gaining Carbon Neutral certification and using 100% renewable energy.

In terms of environmental sustainability, the company’s objectives centre on the fight against climate change (the reduction and compensation of emissions, action plans to adapt to and manage the risks of climate change and improvements to the efficiency of water use); the promotion of the circular economy (the sustainable consumption of resources, the efficient use of energy, the efficient management of waste, ) as well as actions to favour biodiversity.

Reduction by more than 90% (2020 vs. 2019) in waste generation.
The consumption of electricity has reduced by 36% compared to 2017.
